While many of these generous bequests focus upon national or international charities, those of us living in Boulder City can benefit the people of our own lovely community by choosing among numerous worthy local organizations as beneficiaries of our donations. One of the many wonderful Boulder City nonprofit agencies and organizations which serve as essential providers of services to our community is Boulder City Hospital. A donation to the hospital or the Boulder City Hospital Foundation is a gift of life and good health to our families, friends and neighbors.

Emergency Aid of Boulder City is a volunteer organization which provides basic necessities to the poor and needy among us. Which of us has not been in need of a helping hand in our lives?  Lend-A-Hand provides volunteers for transportation and caregiving relief for the elderly and disabled in Boulder City, while St. Jude’s Ranch for Children has given many neglected and abused children a decent home environment and an opportunity to learn and thrive among the good people of our community.

Our quality of life is enriched through organizations such as the Red Mountain Music Company, which presents outstanding musical performances. The Boulder City Museum and Historical Association preserves our heritage by maintaining the Boulder Dam Hotel and the Boulder City-Hoover Dam Museum.

There are many more fine nonprofit groups in our city and all need our help now and in our estate plans.
