After you get to our web page, choose resources, then audio books to find the first of our new databases to offer you: OneClickDigital. This is another resource in addition to OVERDRIVE for downloadable audio books. You will find information about how to used the program and tutorials. These audio books are currently available only to patrons with a library card issued by the Boulder City Library.

Now, on the Boulder City Library web page, go back up to resources and select research, and you will find out about three new Gale Databases that we have added to our collection of resources for you.

Chilton Library represents the most authoritative automotive repair information available to car owners. There are thousands of year, make and model combinations covering the most popular vehicles of the past thirty years, plus additional coverage of specialty models. The Chilton Library gives you the confidence to service or repair virtually any system on your vehicle.

Price It Antiques And Collectibles is an electronic antique and collectibles pricing tool, containing data from a variety of sources. The database currently has over 23 million prices realized for art, antiques and collectibles in more than 100 categories and subcategories.

Powerspeak Languages is an entertaining and effective way to learn a new language such as Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Japanese or English as a second language.

All of these databases went live in June. In case you don’t happen to have a computer at home, you may also access all of these databases at no charge from the public internet workstations at the Boulder City Library.
