If you have an Android smart phone, you have access to Google voice search. You might already know how to use voice search, but if not, this may help you figure it out.
First, you need to download the free Google Chrome Browser onto your smart phone by going to www.google.com/chrome and clicking on the button, “Download Chrome.” If you are using your desktop computer, you will need a microphone or a web camera for voice search to work. Most laptops already have a microphone and camera built in.
After Chrome is installed on your device, go to www.google.com and look to the right of the search bar; you will see a little icon that looks like a microphone. Next, just click on the microphone icon and speak the words you would like to search for. After you speak your search words, Google will convert your spoken words to text and do a Google search. The search is very sensitive, so be careful. When I show my clients this option, I speak their business name into my phone and they sometimes say, “Yes, that’s my business” so Google will search, “business name yes that’s my business.”
