Shawn Morris is thankful to live in Boulder City among so many friends and wonderful neighbors.

He is also pleased to announce the opening of his law office in town.

Born and raised in beautiful Boulder City, Shawn’s family has lived in BC for three generations. His Grandmother, Edith Traasdahl founded Edies Flowers and Grandpa “Frosty” helped build the dam.

Growing up in BC, Shawn worked as a lifeguard and in various construction trades to fund his undergraduate education. While studying at Arizona State University, he met and married his sweetheart Leisel Ellsworth Morris.

In 1994, Shawn graduated from A.S.U. with dual bachelor’s degrees in Accountancy and Finance. He then worked for the General Accounting Office for the State of Arizona.

In 1995, Shawn, Leisel, and their two children Silas and Savannah, moved to sunny San Diego where he attended California Western School of Law.

In 1998, Shawn and Leisel’s son Monte was born and Shawn was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Cal Western. Later in 1998, the family returned to Southern Nevada and Shawn began his law practice in Las Vegas. Since that time Sophia, Noah and Sterling have joined the family. Shawn, Leisel and family all enjoy living in BC. The sporting events, good friends, neighbors, and wonderful sense of community are a few of their favorite aspects.

Shawn practices primarily in civil litigation, probate, and estate planning. He also resolves traffic tickets for a reduced flat rate. Through the years, there have been many fine and reasonable attorneys who have practiced in Boulder City. Shawn wishes to join that group, to be an uplifting problem solver, to serve the residents of BC and to return the kindnesses he has received from so many residents of Boulder City. As a result of his education and experience, he can competently and capably serve the citizens of Boulder City and help them build a better tomorrow.
