Ahh...eee...ahh...eee...ahh
If nothing else, I hope I just got your attention.

No, it’s not that I happen to be in Africa when you’re reading this. Rather, it’s that the Chamber is making it possible for us to see Disney’s musical, Tarzan!

On Friday, September 24, a bus will be heading up to St. George, Utah, for a great day filled with camaraderie and outstanding entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater known as Tuacahn, and you’re invited to be on it.

Last year a ‘fun bus’ of Chamber members and friends motored up to St. George to see Elton John/Tim Rice’s Aida, and were blown away by the awesome performance. If you have never been to Tuacahn, you don’t know what you have been missing. Until last year, I hadn’t been either. It is now one of my favorite venues of all time. The setting can’t be surpassed, and the performances are as professional as you will see anywhere.

This year The Tuacahn Amphitheatre is honored to present the POST-BROADWAY REGIONAL PREMIERE of Disney’s musical Tarzan! Featuring the songs from Disney’s popular 1999 film, as well as nine new songs written specifically for the Broadway production, the show’s Grammy Award-winning musical score, written by singer/songwriter Phil Collins, propels the energy and imagination of this literary favourite by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
In case you’re not familiar with the story: A shipwreck leaves an infant orphaned on the West African shore. The helpless baby is taken under the protection of a gorilla tribe and becomes part of their family. When he eventually encounters his first human—Jane Porter, a curious young explorer—both of their worlds transform forever.

Don’t miss this fun, full-day trip, which will include the play (in front/center seats), transportation on a luxury motor coach, a box lunch and dinner, and either entrance into the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site or Factory Outlet Shopping.
