The first person I would like to recognize and personally thank is Pam Malmstrom, the City Clerk. She will be retiring in July. Pam has been an exceptional City Clerk and she has been wonderful to work with. She has made my job much easier as Mayor and has always been very helpful and considerate to the City Council. She has always served as Boulder City's Clerk in a very professional and positive way.
I thank her for the service she has provided and I wish her the best of luck in her future. She has also been a positive force in the community.
I also want to thank Andrea Anderson and Mike Pacini. They too have served this community in an exceptional way. No matter the event, celebration, or community service, they have been involved. They are wonderful examples of elected officials who understand that our elected position is about service to the community.
Mike has served 12 years and Andrea has served 8 years on the City Council. They will still be involved because that is who they are. It has been an honor to serve on the City Council with them.
There are many more who are involved and engaged in this community in one way or another. That makes Boulder City unique. If someone desires to be more involved there are many ways they can accomplish that.
Serve on city committees, Lend-a-Hand, Emergency Aid, Senior Center, Veterans Home, BC Hospital, youth organizations, and of course the many different churches. Thank you to all who help out in so many different ways to make our community better!
