Due to the difference in time zones between the United States and Asia, my husband always laughs at me because the first thing in the morning I'm not saying, "Honey, good morning, I love you," but what I always say is, "I'm hungry!" People call me by my Chinese name, Chin, in Boulder City. I am a new resident from Taiwan who retired and moved here in December after finishing my professional career in Shanghai and Beijing, China. After 20 years as a professional Public Relations Consultant and author of 8 books, I truly appreciate my great life and the many friends I have made in Boulder City. People here are warm, friendly and giving.
Within the past 6 months, I joined the Fitness Center, belly dancing class, watercolor painting, yoga class with my husband, pendant wiring, and glass making, and I hunger for more. The teachers are all professionals and make class fun. The major reason for me to continue to explore new classes stems from my family and friends who have looked at my recent photos. They all say I look "Happier and healthier than ever." Besides class, my husband and I help a little with the Damboree Committee and enjoy occasionally taking our boat out to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and camping in the multitude of National Parks in and around our great town, Boulder City. Life is so wonderful in Boulder City, how can you not hunger for more!
