The holiday season is in full swing at the Boulder City Library, and we want you to be a part of it. Many programs are planned with your family in mind, including opportunities to learn how to make handmade crafts to give away as gifts and even a throwback event for kids you won’t want to miss! Don’t worry, many of your favorite programs will not be taking a break!
Nov. 4th at 1pm: Drop-In Paper Flower Craft.
Ages 12+, Library Lobby. Make and take craft–
take a few minutes to see how fun and easy it is to make beautiful paper flowers!
Dec. 2nd at 1pm: Sugar Scrubs Craft.
Ages 12+, Sign-up at the Info Desk, $5 Supply Fee. Walk away with a couple of perfect gifts; we'll be making two different scrubs!
Dec. 8th at 2:30pm: Teen Holiday Craft Event.
Ages 12+, Don’t miss this opportunity to make gifts for your friends!
Dec. 9th at 1pm: Gingerbread Library.
All Ages, Sign-up early in the Youth Department. Use your imagination to design and build the ideal
Gingerbread Library!
Dec. 20th at 6pm: Candlelight Storytime.
All Ages! Come in your pajamas to enjoy storytime!
Revival of a Traditional Candlelight Storytime.
Dec. 22nd at 1 & 3pm: Youth Holiday Craft Event.
All Ages! Two craft events for kids to make gifts!
Dec. 26th - 31st: Drop-In Youth Craft Event.
All Week Long During Business Hours! Stop in a create a winter craft, while supplies last.
If all those programs weren’t enough, January is right around the corner which means the Winter Reading Program for ages 16+ will begin. More details on that will be available soon! Until then, have a safe and wonderful holiday season from the Boulder City Library Staff.
