The Holidays are here! I'm sure your calendars fill up as quickly as mine; so, I want to mention some upcoming events at the Library so you don't forget to pencil us in!

November 8th: The Out DAM Spot Shakespeare Festival performances will be held in the amphitheatre, so you may want to bring a lawn-chair or blanket. The event is FREE thanks to donations from Copper Mountain Solar, Boulder City Friends of the Arts, The Sunrise Rotary Club, and the Boulder Dam Credit Union. Starring about twenty of your friends and neighbors, presenting scenes from different plays!

November 15th: Our popular book-purse class will be offered again. You will need to register and leave a $5 refundable deposit, as space is limited. These purses make a great gift this holiday season!

November 22nd: Sign up to participate in our holiday cookie recipe exchange. Bring about 24 of your favorite holiday cookies for samples, and copies of your recipe to share. Who doesn't like cookies?

December 6th: For our recycled craft project, we will teach a class about making earrings and necklaces with nail polish. Registration and a $5 deposit are both required. Very cool to coordinate nails and jewelry!

December 13th, noon to 4pm: Need a place to wrap your gifts to keep them away from prying eyes? We will provide space for you to wrap your presents at the Library. Bring your gifts, paper, tape, scissors, tags and ribbons and use our big tables.

We will be showing Christmas movies throughout the month. Bring your own refreshments and enjoy:
