Essential Touch

By Shauna Sharp

There are few people in the world who don’t love a massage. However, many people underestimate the benefits and the power that massage has to improve your life. It may be stress, an injury, or simply a repetitive action that is causing your pain or tension. No matter the cause, there is a solution and Essential Touch is there help you. Whether aromatherapy, massage technique or another therapeutic modality works best for you. As the owner of Essential Touch, Pete educates her clients so they can reclaim their body instead of being subject to it, and assists her clients in appreciating the awesome gift they have.

Pete is a caring, sensitive therapist with years of experience and is serious about massage. She believes in honor, integrity, being present and listening with her ears and heart as well as her hands. She is a reflexology practitioner, a Reiki master, a certified hypnotherapist, and a graduate of the Dahan Massage School. Additionally, she has been a student of homeopathy and Bach Flower remedies and trained in aromatherapy. She is also a firm believer in Adjunctive Therapy, which is treatment used in conjunction with another physician to increase the chance of cure. She is willing to work with doctors, chiropractors and other health care professionals, as well as professional trainers, on her clients’ health issues.

While she is a therapist, she says everyone who lies on her table is her teacher as she is always learning. She believes no one modality is “the one and only,” and modalities and therapies can be used to complement each other and be synergetic. Her techniques include supporting muscle and structure with massage and mental intention. Each client needs to use whatever modality works for him or her in that session, and Pete believes the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. It is important to Pete that her clients find relief from discomfort and have the ability to produce relief from pain away from her massage table.

Contact Pete today at (702) 277-3220 to see how you can enhance your health care with her excellent modalities and therapies. Come take advantage of the Holiday Special for November and December and receive two massages for $100.
