BBQ Challenge

The Rotary Club of Boulder City, established in 1937, is proud to present the Third Annual Best Dam Barbecue Challenge. Recognized as the Nevada State Championship competition, this fun-filled event will be held May 25th and 26th, 2007 on Colorado Street, in downtown Boulder City.

In addition to the Rotary Club of Boulder City and its members, we are proud to announce several key sponsors for this year’s event. Kingsford Charcoal has once again agreed to sponsor the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge with a donation of nearly 5 tons of charcoal. We are especially pleased with the return of Memphis Championship Barbecue Restaurant as well as several new sponsors, including Sunset Spa and Barb-e-cue’s Galore.

The event officially kicks off Friday evening with the Anything Butt Competition followed by an evening of entertainment and cooking all night long. Saturday will be the Kansas City Barbecue Society Competition and cook-off – lots of great samples can be purchased for a nominal fee. Immediately after the awards ceremony we will kick off a street dance featuring Las Vegas’ own Marshall Reign.
