The Boulder City Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of the parks, including cutting the grass, fertilizing and irrigation repair. The Parks and Recreation Department handles the scheduling and cleaning of the facilities in all the parks. Although City staff continuously inspects and evaluates our Parks, we ask that all residents help in this effort. When using our Parks and Recreation facilities, please call the Recreation Department Office at 293-9256 to report vandalism or damage to equipment. Safety is our number one priority and all efforts will be made to address the issue immediately. If by chance, you see someone damaging City property, please call the Police Department at 293-9224 and report the problem.
Feedback from the community is what guides us in our decision making process as to what direction we should steer our efforts. Program evaluation forms are available at our main office at the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department office at 900 Arizona Street. If you have a special talent you would like to share with the citizens of Boulder City, please contact me at 294-0335. We are always looking for new classes to offer.
A little off the subject, but I just had to share this. Friday, November 17th is our annual Teeny Bopper Dance. This dance is designed to engage children and their parents in a variety of dance styles in a child friendly environment. D.J. Councilman Mike Pacini donates his time to the families of Boulder City and makes the event extra special with his energy and enthusiasm.
