I did a search on google.com for "blog" and there are over 140,000,000 of them right now so you can read all kinds of information. With blogs, anyone can say anything they want to the world. Some blogs are about specific topics, others are personal logs and one is about a hedgehogs life! Boy, I can't wait to log on tomorrow to see what will happen to the hedgehog next! (Not). Blogs also now have links to pictures and other websites.

Blogs are easy and free to use, and on some of them you just send an e-mail to the blog and it gets posted on the internet for all to see. Other viewers can respond to your writings and let you know how they feel.

If you are interested in a blog, one site is blogger.com, which is part of google.com, and they make it free and easy to start and maintain a blog. I just created a new blog so you can see what it looks like. It took about 10 minutes to set up and is real easy to post to. Just go to http://bouldercitymagazine.blogspot.com/ and have a look.

Blogs are a great idea for family members to keep in touch with each other. Just remember everyone in the world can read what you put up on the internet. And you will always have to keep updating it to keep people coming back.

A problem with blogs is that spammers can write replys to your posts and redirect people to their websites. So you might have a few unwanted messages to delete every once in a while.

Go online and check out some blogs to see what they are about. You can go to the test blog I put up and send me a reply. The internet is a great place to find out information and mis-information.
