Since the programs inception it has been our intent to obtain representation from each town or area represented by a BMX rider. This year we will have officers from nine separate law enforcement agencies each riding and interacting with kids from all over the Las Vegas Valley.
This event, not unlike others we hold could not be possible without the assistance of our sponsors. The State of Nevada Office of Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety is expected to be in attendance handing out information pertinent to bicycle riders and pedestrians. Bruce Mackey, the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Coordinator for the event has once again chosen to sponsor our event in an effort to promote the safe riding of bicycles and the consistent use of a bicycle helmet. Obey the law and always wear a helmet is the message this year.
Chiarelli’s Deli has donated a couple hundred Boar’s Head Hot Dogs to be sold at the event. The Boulder City Police Protective Association is purchasing about $300.00 of Gatorade and water. All monies collected will be donated directly to the BMX Track. Everyone is welcomed to stop by and enjoy the evening.
