It’s that time of year again where we highlight all of the many local shops here in Boulder City! If you’ve been to the Wine Walk, you’ll notice there is no shortage of stores in Historic Downtown. The weather is getting cooler, the coffee and hot cocoa warmer, so take a stroll through Boulder City and see what your local merchants have to offer.
First up are a couple of new shops that have opened just in the last year; one is Serendipity Gifts, and the other is Country of Origin Label (COOL). Serendipity Gifts, located on Wyoming has a unique collection of anything from handbags to fun and whimsical kitchen accessories for that particular party host in your life. You’ll also find scarves, clothing, aprons, and socks, among many other small gifts. Country of Origin Label is an apparel store located on Nevada Highway next to the Coffee Cup. They carry an array of beautiful clothing manufactured in the US and Italy along with shoes and accessories. If your friend or family member loves bling, then this is a store you need to check out. Their items all have very reasonable prices and offer a great shopping experience.
Bloom Boutiques in Boulder City is known for their reclaimed furniture pieces but did you know they have workshops too? They have various workshops for that particular crafter in your life. For that special little one, head into Ruben’s Woodcraft and Toys where you’ll find games, stocking stuffers and other fun stuff for kids. Don’t forget about the Saturday workshops! The kids can make gifts to give for the holidays for a nominal fee.
Of course, we can’t forget all of the antique shops around town. Boulder City is known for our antique stores, and there is no shortage of those! They are all treasure chests full of gifts and collectibles.
